Defendant Race Impacts Information Processing in Jurors

Abstract
Understanding how racial bias impacts jury decision-making is an important first step to reducing the number of innocent people of color behind bars. Participants rendered verdicts and completed measures following exposure to criminal trial case with either an African Am. or European Am. defendant. Findings and implications will be presented.
