Abstract
This research will elucidate the relationship between statistical suppression and a statistical artefact that may arise in regression models when posttest is regressed on pretest and a continuous predictor. Instances of suppression in pre-post research are prevalent, and psychology researchers are often unable to identify and interpret suppression effects.
