College Students with ADHD Diagnosis Use Illegal Drugs More Often Than Their Peers

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine whether college students with a diagnosis of ADHD or no diagnosis but think they have ADHD are more likely to use illegal drugs compared to their peers without ADHD. College students diagnosed with ADHD reported the highest use of illicit drugs.
