Abstract

We examined the influence of childhood violent victimization and witnessing of violence on sexual perpetration in young adults. A significant relationship was found between exposure to violence in childhood, both witnessing and being the direct victim, and sexual aggression perpetration in young adulthood. Victimization was the best predictor of perpetration.
