Abstract

This study designing the learning material in video without temporal contiguity principle in order to increase learners' cognitive load, and instructing learners to use the dual windows strategy to self-manage this negative effect. The results indicated this strategy can successfully enhance learning outcome of learners with low prior knowledge.
