Abstract

This study examined whether lower levels of impulsivity were associated with better adjustment outcomes during early adolescence and how various aspects of parenting moderated the relationship between impulsivity and adjustment. Across the parenting aspects, lower levels of impulsivity were associated with better adjustment, except for conflict parenting at 5th grade.
