Abstract

This study examined the factor structure of the 2017 UN World Happiness Study and its relation to the Cantril Self-Anchoring Striving Scale. Two correlated factors: Personal Happiness and Societal Happiness emerged. The Cantril scale was highly correlated with Personal Factor scores and less so with Societal Happiness and its indicators.
