The Role of Community Engagement on Peer Sexual Assault Intervention

Abstract

This study bridges research in bystander behaviors and community psychology and examine the role of community behaviors and place attachment on college women’s efficacy and intervention in peer sexual assaults. Using 204 female college students, our data confirmed the hypothesized model. Implications to community and bystander programs will be discussed.
