The Effect of a Study-Skills Focused First-Year Seminar on College Students' Study Habits

The purpose of this study was to assess students’ study habits after completing a study-skills focused first-year seminar. It was predicted that students would report using ineffective study skills despite having completed the first-year seminar. One-hundred and one students were surveyed on their study habits. Results supported the prediction.
