Abstract

Construct validity of the Q-sort test of Undergraduate Epistemology and Scientific Thinking (QUEST) instrument was demonstrated as a new measurement of intellectual curiosity and scientific epistemology. Convergent and divergent validity was established by positive correlations with measures of curiosity and belief in science and a negative correlation with religious identity.
