Predicting Early Childhood Educator Stress: Teacher- and Classroom-Level Variables

Abstract

This study evaluated the relations between teacher stress and teacher- and classroom-level factors (National Center for Research on Early Childhood Education; Pianta & Burchinal, 2007-2011). Teacher anger and children's behaviors uniquely predicted three distinct types of teacher stress. Results have implications for the need for support of early childhood educators.
