Abstract

The Concrete-Abstract dimension has long been studied in psychology. In the current research, 6 studies (Ns ranging from ~700 to ~18,000; total N = ~31,000) explored a new method for analyzing texts for quantifying concreteness in natural language. Findings were consistent across studies, validating this approach.
