Does the Type of Diversity Matter? Real Worker’s Reactions

Abstract

This study examines how diversity types influence team emergent states and outcomes over time. Results indicate while surface-level diversity hinders team trust and performance earlier on, deep-level diversity threatens such trust and performance at a later time. Furthermore, trust showed to mediate the relationship between diversity and performance.
