How Does Mood Influence Executive Function? the Moderating Effect of Emotional Reactivity

Abstract
In two studies we tested how mood states effected performance on executive function tasks while controlling for emotional reactivity. Emotional reactivity moderated the effect, such that low-reactive individuals performed more poorly under conditions of high negative affect, whereas high-reactive individuals showed the opposite pattern.
