Abstract

This research examined the interactive role of weight and fat talk on body dissatisfaction between female friends. Participants completed demographic information and body dissatisfaction questionnaires. They engaged in a conversation about their bodies in the laboratory. APIM analysis showed a significant interaction between fat talk and weight on body dissatisfaction.
