Metacontrol and Body Ownership: Divergent Thinking Increases the Virtual Hand Illusion

Given the tight relationship between virtual hand illusion and self–other integration, also between self–other integration and metacontrol states which can be induced with convergent thinking (Remote Associates) task or divergent-thinking (Alternate Uses) task, we tested whether the VHI varies in size varies depending on the metacontrol bias.
