Abstract

This study tested the extent science motivation and general academic self-efficacy mediate the relationship between socioeconomic status (SES) and academic achievement (i.e., within major and cumulative GPAs). The study also sought to understand the relative importance of predictors of both types of academic achievement using dominant analysis.
