Abstract

The effectiveness of various treatment modalities, including CBT, DBT, ITT, or a combination of these, was studied from self-reported data from individuals who sought therapy for muscle dysmorphia. Barriers to treatment were also studied along with the relationship between severity in muscle dysmorphia symptomology and the likelihood of seeking treatment.
