Revisiting the Redundancy Principle: Stand-Alone Powerpoint Lessons

Abstract

The multimedia learning redundancy principle was investigated. One condition adjusted this principal by offering limited text and narration with images. The other three conditions either supported or violated this principle. The limited text with narration and images showed significant and large effects in comparison to the other conditions.
