Abstract

Mind-wandering (MW) reports were elicited during video lectures with eye-tracking. MW was associated with significant fluctuations of fixational measures on the PowerPoint area but not the instructor area, suggesting that the “learning” gazes, not the “social” gazes, are sensitive to MW. Results demonstrate potential of detecting MW from oculomotor behaviors.
