Abstract

Anxiety and depression have been associated with greater substance-use in undergraduates. This study examines the association between depression and anxiety with substance-use. Results show interactions between depression, stress, and self-esteem in the prediction of alcohol-use, as well as for anxiety, stress, and self-esteem in the prediction of drug-use.
