Abstract

We examined relationships between high-level and mid-level goals and the effect of perceived goal importance and progress on well-being in N = 66 medical school students. Results suggested intricate relationships between high- and mid-level goals, goal importance and pursuit, and perceived progress and well-being outcomes such as work burnout.
