Facets of Conscientiousness and Risk of Dementia

We examined in a national longitudinal study (N = 11181) which facets of conscientiousness were most protective against the risk of dementia. We found that individuals who score higher on responsibility, self-control, and industriousness were less likely to develop cognitive impairment or dementia.
