Childhood Trauma, Life Stress, and Self-Harm Persistence: A Longitudinal Analysis of Women with and without Childhood ADHD

Abstract
We examined childhood trauma and life stress as predictors of self-harm in women with and without histories of childhood ADHD. Binomial regressions indicate that childhood trauma predicted persistence of NSSI and SI, whereas life-stress predicted adult levels of SI and SA, over and above key sociodemographic variables and parental psychopathology.
