Abstract

Mathematics anxiety (MA) is consistently associated with poor math outcomes. However, most studies to date relied on cross-sectional designs, preventing us from understanding the developmental mechanisms underlying these associations. The current study examined the longitudinal role of MA in mathematics development, and explored sex difference in these developmental processes.
