Parental Contributions to Adolescents’ Peer Victimization Depend on Peer Rejection

Abstract
Parents who are overprotective, threaten rejection, and who lack warmth are more likely to have adolescents (204, 9th and 10h grade boys and girls) that increasingly experience victimization from peers but primarily when adolescents’ are highly rejected by peers.
