Abstract

We assessed whether a two-week online positive vs. neutral mental imagery intervention could improve self-referent processing (SRET) and depressive symptomatology among adults with depression symptoms. The positive condition showed a greater increase in positive self-reference compared to neutral. Results indicate that mental imagery has the potential to improve self-referential processing.
