Community Mental Health Training Needs for Working with Refugee Populations

A study of a small Midwestern city community mental health center reveals training needs in order to best serve refugee populations. Clinicians indicated needs for additional knowledge about the specific refugee populations, the refugee resettlement process, how to properly work with an interpreter, and population specific evidence based practices.
