An Analysis of Neurogenesis in a Mouse Model of Chemotherapy Related Cognitive Impairment

The present studies explore the long-term impact of three commonly used chemotherapy agents on neurogenesis utilizing immunohistochemistry in a mouse model. The results indicated that there was no effect of 5-fluorouracil cyclophosphamide or doxorubicin on proliferation rates within the dentate gyrus at either short-term or long-term intervals.
