Abstract

Orthorexia Nervosa is pathologically healthful eating. Popular instruments to detect this condition are ineffective. We present data (n=365) on a 30-item instrument that effectively distinguishes those with orthorexia from those without an eating disorder, as well as differentiates those with the condition from those with traditional eating disorders.
