Abstract
This study utilizes a mixed-methods design to explore 15 transgender Muslims’ religious and mental health experiences in Asia, Europe, Middle East, and US. Despite reporting a number of stressors, the average depression score was moderate at 21.5 (SD=11.45)—with about half of the participants utilizing religion/spirituality as a coping tool.
