Abstract

Sufferers of pathologically healthful eating (orthorexia nervosa) often become malnourished or develop medical problems because of rigid dieting falsely believed to be healthy. Despite a focus on fear of being fat, binge/purge behavior, etc the EAT-26 classifies those with orthorexia nervosa has having a possible eating disorder.
