Interactions between Right-Wing Authoritarianism and Perceived Threat from the Outgroup

We assessed how right-wing authoritarianism (RWA) moderates perceived symbolic
and realistic threat from Muslims in the U.S. after describing a terror attack. The terror
attack description increased symbolic threat, and the higher one was in RWA, the
stronger the correlation between symbolic and realistic threat perceptions
