Culture Is Prevention: Adapting the Cultural Connectedness Scale for Diasporic Multi-Tribal AI/an Communities in San Francisco Bay Area

The Culture is Prevention Project an instrument developed using Community-based Participatory Research. Initiated by Native health organizations with concerns about the lack of culturally appropriate methods evaluating health outcomes due to colonization and loss of culture. The methods and results of the new Cultural Connectedness Scale – California are presented.
