Abstract

Worldwide, intimate partner violence (IPV) strongly predicts depression. It remains unknown if IPV-exposed women can benefit from depression treatments in low-and-middle-income countries, where depression and IPV are prevalent. We examined whether IPV and activation levels predicted depression for women receiving the Healthy Activity Programme vs. enhanced usual care in India.
