Abstract
Participants rated perceptions of competence, warmth, happiness, and authenticity in a hypothetical individual with ADHD when he was a) using medication, and b) off his medication. Competence increased, warmth was unchanged, and authenticity and happiness decreased with medication usage. Results are discussed with regard to stigma and treatment acceptability.
