Abstract
We provide evidence that women may inhibit honest, open sexual communication with their partners because of concerns about his precarious manhood. A serial mediation model demonstrated a significant indirect effect of women's precarious manhood beliefs on sexual satisfaction through her anxiety about her partner and her sexual communication with him.
