The Relations of Work Identity with Job Satisfaction and Life Satisfaction: A Moderating Role of Family Identity

Abstract

The present study investigated moderation effect of family identity on work identity’s relation with job/life satisfaction. 164 full-time employees in South Korea participated in a survey. Statistical analyses revealed significance of family identity’s moderation effect, that a strong family identity without a strong work identity led to lower job/life satisfaction.
