Abstract

Student use of practice testing in math (i.e. solving practice problems) was explored in both imagined and actual exam preparation scenarios. Results indicate that math anxious students allocate a smaller percentage of study time to solving practice problems and prioritize reading examples of solved problems over independently solving problems.
