Abstract

Studies examining the relationship between sleep difficulties and cognition have reported inconsistent findings. Our results show that sleep-disturbed participants had poorer episodic memory than nonsleep-disturbed participants. Though sleep-disturbed individuals also self-reported more concentration difficulties, significant differences were not found on other cognitive measures, such as attention or working memory.
