Benefit Finding and Perceived Control: The Role of Positive Affect and Childhood Social Class

This cross-sectional study examined the link between benefit finding (i.e. finding benefits within adversity) and personal mastery, state positive affect as an underlying mechanism, and the potential moderating role of early childhood financial strain, among individuals from low socioeconomic backgrounds.
