Abstract

Visuospatial perspective taking is cognitive in nature. Through the development of a new object rotation task, both allocentric and egocentric simulations can be assessed. Using a within subjects design, participants are asked to take the perspective of another, or to follow verbal instructions to complete the object rotation.
