Paternal Care in Adjustment to Childhood Adversity in Adult Children of Parental Divorce

Abstract
This study contrasted the associations between childhood adversity, perceived father care, and mood symptoms between participants from divorced and intact families. Children of parental divorce experienced more forms of childhood adversity, which were linked to lower levels of perceived father care, and in turn symptoms of depression and anxiety.
