Abstract

The purpose of this research was to examine the implicit attitudes of college instructors toward four accented English (Chinese, Hispanic, Korean, and Standard) using the multifactor Implicit Association Test (IAT). The results suggested college instructors in this study exhibited some bias towards speakers of Hispanic-accented English.
