Abstract
The current study evaluated enhancement drinking motives (EDM), depressive symptoms, and alcohol-related negative consequences in a large sample of college students. EDM were positively associated with depressive symptoms and negative consequences. Furthermore, depressive symptoms moderated the relationship between EDM and negative consequences.
