Last Chance: Apply for NSF Faculty Early Development (CAREER) Program

Submissions for CAREER program now accepted until August 11, 2020

The National Science Foundation (NSF) has extended the deadline to apply for its Faculty Early Development (CAREER) program from July 27 to August 11, 2020. CAREER is a program which provides support for scientists as they begin their careers as faculty. Applicants must outline a program of research that will build a foundation for a lifetime of research and education contributions, and they must show that their application is supported by their academic department.

Recipients of the CAREER award receive a minimum support of $400,000 over the five-year-long program. You can click here for a list of FAQs.

NSF will accept applications until August 11, however, NSF encourages applicants to apply on or before the original deadline of July 27, 2020 in the interest of timely review.
