New Editor-in-Chief at Current Directions in Psychological Science

APS is pleased to announce that June Gruber has been selected as the next Editor-in-Chief of Current Directions in Psychological Science. Gruber is a Professor in the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience at the University of Colorado Boulder, with a previous faculty appointment at Yale University. Her interdisciplinary research focuses on affective and clinical psychology, which she intends to include in her editorial vision for the journal.

As Editor-in-Chief, Gruber plans to globally broaden the inclusivity and repertoire of the content, promote journal content to the general public for additional engagement, and recruit international scholars to serve as authors and editorial board members.

Gruber served as an Associate Editor for Perspectives on Psychological Science and Emotion. She is a Consulting Editor for American Psychologist and has been a Guest Editor for many journals, including Psychological ScienceClinical Psychological ScienceJournal of Psychopathology and Clinical Science, and Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin. Gruber, a former APS Rising Star, will begin her term as Editor-in-Chief on January 1, 2025.
