Tracing the Threads of Relationship Dynamics: Methodological Advances and Considerations In the Analysis of Dyadic Data
This symposium illustrates methodological advances in modeling dyads as interdependent systems. We discuss unified models for diverse dyad types, diagnosing and correcting measurement violations in dyadic frameworks, dyadic approaches to modeling shared behavior, and LLM-based tools for analyzing conversation. Taken together, we provide a flexible, theory-driven toolkit for dyadic analysis.
