Capturing Context: Multiple Pathways to Understanding Daily Mental Health Dynamics
This symposium presents empirical work that uses ecological momentary assessment in combination with contextual, linguistic, and passive-sensing data. Across studies, speakers examine momentary impulsivity, daily identity-related experiences, personalized affect detection, and high-risk clinical dynamics. Together, these methods demonstrate multimodal tools for advancing research on daily mental health processes.
