Understanding Critical Contexts for the Positive Development of Black Youth: Socialization and Awareness As Tools for Resilience
This symposium examines how Black youth (adolescents and emerging adults) understand and navigate racism across three critical contexts of development. Featured projects utilize qualitative and quantitative methodological approaches to examine nuances in Black youth’s perspectives and experiences and how they contribute to youth’s development and well-being.
